- Notes: Appears in changed form as Chapter XV in the book, headed "Magicians as Detectors of Fraud." There are numerous corrections throughout the manuscript, most in the hand of an editor, but Houdini made a number of small changes as well, especially regarding magicians with whom he had dealings.
