E7,000/10,000 From 1951 to 1953, Cook exhibited a group of 20 pastels, mainly semi- abstract New York City views, at several museums across the United States including the Santa Barbara Museum of Art, the M. H. De Young Memorial Museum, San Francisco, the Baltimore Museum of Art and the Montclair Art Museum. The exhibition was initiated by Donald Bear, director of the Santa Barbara Museum of Art, and Ninfa Valvo, from the M. H. De Young Memorial Museum.
