- Notes: first edition, first binding. inscribed and signed by hurston, "To Mr. Glen Boyd, Zora Neale Hurston." Jonah's Gourd Vine is generally considered to be Hurston's best work and is based on her childhood in Eatonville, Florida, an entirely black community.
