Rubricated, and with numerous penwork initials in colors. Folio, 478x336 mm, contemporary blind-tooled pigskin over wooden boards with brass catches, lacking clasps, bosses, and lettering piece, small wormholes through covers and front and back of contents not impairing legibility, front cover detached; occasional light toning or overall dampstaining, extensive faint smearing or bleeding of rubrication with show-through, first few gatherings in Volume 1 loose, first leaf soiled and detached with Heilbronn Carmelite inscription and St. Charles Borromeo Seminary stamp, clean tear across lower outer corner of [p]3 crudely repaired, clean tear in upper inner corner of [o]7 in Volume 2.
