Containing an account of his Captivity, Sufferings and Escape from the Kickappo Indians. 15 pages. 8vo, stitched self-wrappers; first leaf torn with significant loss to the wood-cut illustration, other edge tears (with minimal loss), soiling. [Providence, 1793]
- Notes: excessively rare captivity narrative and account of st. clair's defeat. According to Siebert (and contrary to other bibliographers), this Providence printing precedes all others except for the mythic Lexington, Kentucky edition of which no copy has ever been found. The Siebert copy realized over $13,000. Siebert Sale 440; Evans 25670.
