- Notes: first edition. boldly inscribed and signed, "To Capt. Charles B. Dillingham In this book you will find the history of some of the tricks you do so well. From one Conjuror to another. Harry Houdini Jan 17/1918." Dillingham was a theatre owner, director, and producer. During his career he produced over 100 stage productions and it was in this capacity that he became friendly with Houdini.
