- Notes: first edition, first issue. inscribed for edmund gosse "with best wishes and happiest remembrances" in the year of publication. Gosse's bookplate mounted to pastedown. Also, tipped to front endpaper is a warm letter by de la mare to "my dear gosse, Yet another book..." and thanking him for his many kindnesses and delights Gosse's books have given to him; clearly gifted with the book. 1 page, folded 8vo sheet. 18 July 1921 on Thornsett Road stationery.
