28x21 inches. The Clinton Co. Litho., Chicago.
Condition A-: discoloration and minor creases in margins. Paper.
A hydroplane is flying over two people canoeing on Lake Michigan. Chicago's lakefront has an extensive and colorful aviation history. The earliest flights from the city were from Grant Park, an area designated as public space in the mid 19th century. Due to its prime location, the park hosted the city's first flying exhibition in 1911, which attracted over 600,000 visitors a day. Later, the park became the site of the first scheduled air mail flights to and from Chicago.
