A very scarce group of this artist's work in Europe before and during World War II. Born in Portland, Oregon, Robinson studied at Otis Art Institiute in Los Angeles, and in Paris, 1927-29. From 1931-32 she worked with Diego Rivera on the murals in the Palacio Nacional in Mexico City. She later pursued an art career on the East Coast and assisted Rockwell Kent in illustrating Voltaire's Candide. Her last known painting, "La Familia," was purchased by the Museo de Arte Moderno in Mexico City (1993) where it is hung with a portrait of her by David Alfaro Siquieros (1931).
