Group of 33 photographs of Iran comprising photographs of Rescht, Kurdistan, many landscapes and views of palaces and ruins, the royal palace of Teheran, portraits of Iranian men and women, images of people at work, a man with a hooka, two men weighing spices, European men on horses and at meal time, and more. Albumen prints, 4 1/4x6 3/4 to 7x9 1/2 inches (10.8x17.1 to 17.8x24.1 cm.) and the reverse, many numbered in the negative, and with handwritten French titles, in pencil and ink, and one with a partial hand stamp on verso. 1880s
