to vaudeville performer Lillian Shaw, sending the orchestration for "Yiddle on Your Fiddle Play Some Rag Time" [not present], expecting to write the song [lyrics] during the week, and hoping she will take a rest before an anticipatedly strenuous month. ¾ page, 4to, "Ted. Snyder Company" stationery; moderate fading to type (signature relatively bold), mounted to larger board, folds.

  • Notes: "I am enclosing you orchestration of 'Yiddle.' As yet, have not done anything toward getting a song, but the week is long and I may be able to fulfill my promise. "Write and let me know how you are going, also how you feel. Don't work too hard and take good care of yourself. Remember you have a strenuous month before you. As for myself, I feel great, and business is about the same as when you left. "Answer soon."
