  • Notes: Depicts the 1824 presidential candidates in a hotly-contested foot race. John Quincy Adams, Andrew Jackson, and William Crawford sprint toward the finish line while Henry Clay has given up the chase. The onlookers offer a wealth of silly comments. Most notably, ex-president John Adams cheers "Hurra for our Son Jack!" Murrell #102; Reilly 1824-4.
