Group of 8 cabinet cards of Native-American subjects. Albumen prints, 51/2x4 inches (14x10.2 cm.), on the "U. S. Geological & Geographical Survey of the Territories" mount, with Jackson's credit and caption in the negative; 2 with handwritten captions on mount recto. 1870s
This group of photographs was originally in the collection of Col. Edward Morrison, who was appointed Territorial Land Officer for the Walla Walla region by Pres. Rutherford P. Hayes, and descends through his family.
