Jamel Shabazz's Back in the Days photograph and book is in excellent encapsulation of his work documenting the New York City street scene in the 1980s-90s.

The print is in excellent condition, with no apparent flaw upon close inspection, boasting rich and vibrant colors and a clean surface.

The book is in very good condition with bright vibrant colors on the cover, back and throughout the book. There is slight yellowing at the top of the gutter at the front and rear but is very minor. Overall the binding is tight, but shows some very occasional signs of handling.
