Mezzotint, circa 1770. 280x190 mm; 11x7 1/2 inches, narrow margins. Proof before letters and with the lower margin partially unclean. Ex-collection Gottfried Eissler (Lugt supplement 805b, verso). A superb, early impression with no sign of wear.

American-born Greenwood (Boston 1727-1792 Margate) produced an extensive body of engraved and mezzotint prints in the late 1700s in England and Holland, though he never produced a single work in his homeland. LeBlanc 11.
