Pro Fily 1 * The Photographs of Josef Sudek. A pair of portfolios by the Czech master photographer, comprised of a total of 31 prints of Sudek's elegaic and aetherial photographs. The first with 18 (of 18) photographs, including 4 panoramas, and the second with 13 (of 13) photographs, mostly consisting of garden, window, and architectural studies. Silver prints, the images ranging from 3 3/8x11 to 11 1/4x8 3/8 inches (8.6x27.9 to 28.6x21.3 cm.), each of the group of 18 with the stamped title and negative date. Each set housed in a printed pictorial folding jacket; the first white with black printing, with the titles on the back inside flap; the second silver with black printing, with a printed booklet (in Czech, German, Russian, English, and French); all contents loose as issued.
