Watercolor on cream wove paper. 180x265 mm; 7 1/8x10 1/2 inches. Signed in ink, lower right recto. Counter signed and titled "Souvenir a Sorgvliet" in pencil, verso. Ex-collection Holtkott, ink stamp verso (not in Lugt).

Sorgvliet, near The Hague, was originally the estate of the great Dutch writer and statesman Jacob Cats, and was later redesigned and expanded by Hans Willem Bentinck, the Earl of Portland.
