Condition A-: minor restored losses and pinholes in corners; repaired tears in left, top and bottom margins; scrape in image.
A strong Art Deco and Modernist design for the fair grounds featuring "a visual epitomization" (World's Fair p. 218) of the Trylon and Perisphere rising over the silhouette of New York City, a train and a ship. Binder's design was awarded first prize in the poster competition for the fair in 1938. World's Fair p. 219, Weill 427.
