Provenance: Gift from the artist, private New York collection.
An artist embellished souvenir of his 1979 oil painting, Yankee Parade, celebrating the New York Yankees victory in the World Series that year. Delaney painted many parades as they offered him the crowd scenes he enjoyed, from Vine and Central, Knoxville, Tennessee, 1940 to Macy''s Parade, 1974.
