  • Notes: Second edition of a treatise on the kabbalistic doctrine of the sefirot, or divine emanations, and the first hebrew book printed in padua. This is also the earliest obtainable edition of this work, as only 2 leaves survive from the 1560 Constantinople original edition; see Yaari, Constantinople 157. EJ VII, 233; Vinograd, Padua 1. With the 1837 approval stamp and signature of rabbi N. Namiot of Dyatlovo on the title page. From the libraries of the rabbi and Bible commentator Yaakov Tsvi Meklenburg (1785-1865), with his stamp on title and last page; and Adolf Lewisohn (1849-1938), with his morocco booklabel (lot 404 in his sale at Parke-Bernet, 29 February 1940).
