Condition B+: repaired tears, restored losses, creases and overpainting in margins and along vertical and horizontal folds, some affecting image; archival tape at edges.
Dubonnet was originally a wine and spirit wholesale company that began marketing their own brand of quinine wine in 1880. Amongst the posters Chéret designed for the company, two depicted a woman drinking with a cat at her side. The cat was Dubonnet''s emblem, and is still seen on the company''s labels today.
