- Notes: The Second Edition, first published a decade prior, of an important compilation of narratives, with 6 of American interest, including: Ligon's Histoire de l'Isle des Barbades; La Borde's Relation de l'Origine, Moeurs, Coustumes, Religion, Guerres et Voyages des Caraibes; Blome's Description de l'Isle de la Jamaique; and an anonymous work simply titled Colonies Angloises. The 4-sheet map of the Nile is often found lacking, but the maps of American interest are present, including folding maps of Barbados and Jamaica and a map of New England (extending as far South as the Chesapeake) after Blome.
