First edition, limited issue octavo; copy 191 of 1,250 copies signed by Kent; with numerous illustrations of bookplates, initials, and marks; bound in publisher's gilt-stamped terracotta cloth, green pastedowns; in the original printed dust jacket; 7 x 5 in.

2) Left to Their Own Devices. New York: Paul A. Bennett for The Typophiles of New York, 1937. First edition, limited issue, small octavo; number 56 of 190 copies; illustrated throughout with examples of the 156 devices by 113 artists; bound in publisher's gilt-lettered full blue cloth, top edge gilt; with the original printed dust jacket; including the original prospectus and the Typophile Devices Bulletin, No. 1 from 1938 with the results of their vote laid in; all housed in the original blue printed slipcase; 6 x 3 5/8 in.
