  • Condition: This trio of photographs by Larry Clark from the 42nd Street Series, 1979-80; printed 1990s is in nearly excellent condition. The prints are lush and rich, with deep black and bright highlights.

As displayed in our online catalogue,

Print 1: Excellent condition, no flaw on the surface. The margins and verso are bright and clean.

Print 2: Under close examination in strong raking light, it is possible to notice an exceedingly faint and soft half-moon crease above the left feet. This is not apparent under typical viewing condition. The margins and verso are bright and clean. There are 2 short and soft handling marks in the upper left and lower right margins. They remain unobtrusive and far from the image area.

Print 3: Under strong raking light, it is possible to notice scattered tiny specs of professional retouching, mostly in the darkest areas of the image (trousers and coat). They remain unobtrusive except for one spec of retouching in the coat in which a pinpoint-size spec remains visible. While apparent, this is not distracting. The margins and verso are bright and clean.

Each with Clark's signature in pencil on verso.
