First edition, large quarto, two parts in one volume, calculating ephemerides out to 1650; with two title pages printed in red and black with engraved printer's device (first title mounted, with old signature inked over, bottom edge torn with loss); lacking 2 preliminary leaves in the first work; many marginal notes throughout from the period, a few leaves torn, sometimes with loss made up in contemporary manuscript, a well-used copy bound in full contemporary calf, gauffered and gilt edges; ex libris Dukes of Arenberg with Nordkirchen bookplate inside front board; endleaves and extra pages with handwritten tables; original red silk ties removed; 8 1/2 x 6 3/4 in.
