- Notes: a charming early watercolor by 20-yr-old lawrence. Given by Lawrence to Stuart Gelder who co-authored "Young Lorenzo" with Ada Lawrence in 1931. It was passed down to Gelder's daughter who sold it to Bertram Rota in 1958 where it was then sold to its present owner. It is typical of young Lawrence's style and subjects of landscapes and woodland scenes.
