Etching, circa 1540-50. 236x186 mm; 9 3/8x7 3/8 inches. Trimmed on or just inside the plate mark, with small to thread margins outside the black border line, small restored losses upper left and lower right corners. A superb, dark, evenly printed and early impression of this extremely scarce print.
We have found only 3 impressions at auction in the past 20 years. Bartsch 1; Zerner 57.
