In the 1930s when technology began to reflect the sleek, aerodynamic lines of the Art Deco movement, the new 20th Century Limited, designed by Henry Dreyfus, was the pride of the New York Central Line, running from New York to Chicago. This image has been featured by the United States Postal Service on a series of stamps commemorating the 1930s, and is among the top American Art Deco posters ever designed.
