"Life is Real." Lobby card printed in black on yellow background with photographic inset scene of Nina McKinney. 22 x 9.25 inches. Foster, Indiana, circa 1930s E300/400 An unusual show for this period, billed as "The Greatest Black and White Show ever Produced." It included a black-face minstrel show, and large banjo band with the film. McKinney was prominent in black films and later in mixed-cast films. She got her first break in Hollywood when MGM produced Hallelujah, with McKinney as a co-star in 1921.
