- Notes: charming original watercolors by Lorioux, the French illustrator best known for his pictures for children's books by Charles Perrault. His fantasy-filled, colorful Art Nouveau-inspired work is present in these three works: an image of seven dwarves sitting on a curved bench in a flowering wood, cheering on a parade of rabbits carrying various tools. 312x312 mm. Nd * Christmas greeting for 1951 titled "Rose de Noël" showing a fanciful count carrying a large rose and holiday gifts. 315x240 mm * Christmas greeting titled "Noël `54" of decoratively dressed birds on a branch, accompanied by a fly shooting a star out of a straw. 152x243 mm.
