Folio, 313x194 mm, contemporary blind-tooled pigskin over wooden boards, front covers additionally stamped I K and 1562 in black, brass catches, missing some clasps, front joint partly cracked on Volumes 1-3, portion of pigskin missing from bottom of Volume 3 front cover; contents browned with some marginal dampstaining, occasional early underscoring and marginalia, paper corrosion and worming in lower outer corner of Volume 2 title affecting border on recto and illustration on verso, Volume 3 title torn in blank outer margin and crudely reinforced on blank verso, hole in 2T4 in Volume 4 causing some text loss, some free endpapers lacking.
