[171] leaves. 153x110 mm, contemporary brown morocco lavishly gilt with unidentified arms on covers, which are additionally stamped FELIX (top) and GALLUCCIUS (bottom); contents generally clean; gilt edges, gauffered to repeating ornamental pattern.   • Notes: Born in Palermo, Calandrucci lived and worked for many years in Rome after studying under Carlo Maratta and Giuseppe Passeri, executing numerous religious and secular frescoes. He returned to Palermo in 1705 and died there two years later. The manuscript comprises priced estate inventories (recording several hundred paintings, drawings, and prints, as well as books, furniture, and real estate) and documents concerning the disposition of his assets.
