Vellum bifolium from an illluminated Latin antiphonary with decorated initial S and floral panel at beginning of first Vespers of the Feast of Corpus Christi, text written in gothic hand in brown ink beneath 4-line staves in red with square notation in brown, 7 lines, recto and verso. Small initials with penwork decoration alternately in red and blue; headings in red. Approximately 478x343 mm folded; minor marginal soiling in a few places, some text lightly faded or rubbed, slight flaking of pigment on floral panel. Italy, 15th century
