- Notes: Fair copy of an apparently unpublished collection of writings of varying length on diverse subjects. On the leaf preceding the title, the contents are further described as "Myne owne workes through the grace of God, being An history of my imprisoned Soule sometymes viewing the walles within, sometymes looking forth at the windowe at things without, and sometymes musing, by those thinges, which it doeth see, what manner of thinges they are which it doeth not see. ffinished Anno Domini 1659 Annoque aetatis meae 69." With the large armorial bookplate of Sir William Stirling-Maxwell on the front pastedown, and his small Keir House bookplate on the rear pastedown.
