Quarto, a reissue of each of the included works gathered under a new general title page, each of the separate parts with divisional titles, including Cheape and Good Husbandry, 1631; Country Contentments, 1633; The English House-wife, 1637; The Inrichment of the Weald of Kent, 1636; Markham's Farewell to Husbandry, and A New Orchard and Garden, 1638 by William Lawson; several works with woodcut text illustrations; lacking six text leaves [I2-7 (pages 115 -126)] in the final work, A New Orchard and Garden, in the section by Simon Haward on the art of propagating plants; bound in 19th century half pebbled morocco and moiré-patterned fabric boards, worn, becoming decased; some damage along inner gutter of title; last few leaves attached to back board, 7 1/4 x 5 1/4 in.
