A full year of the Columbian Centinel leading up to the War of 1812.

Boston, 2 January to 28 December 1811
103 (of 104) semi-weekly issues, each 4 pages, in one volume. The 2 February issue includes a legislative resolution "praying for the endowment of a Hospital in Boston for the reception of the sick and laboring poor"; and the vote establishing the hospital appears in the 23 February issue.

The Battle of Tippecanoe on the Indiana frontier is covered in the 4 December issue, including a letter sent by General Harrison two weeks before the battle on the construction of the fort, and then two early reports on the 7 November battle against Shawnee forces led by Tecumseh's brother Tenskwatawa, here styled "The Prophet."
