  • Notes: Nathan Cooley Keep (1800-1875) was a dentist from Longmeadow, MA. He would later become the first dean of the Harvard Dental School, the first university-based dental school in America. The lot consists of personal letters from friends in Massachusetts, one letter describing Indians near Bangor, ME, and one from a creditor of his late brother Samuel. with--two letters and a receipt addressed to Keep's brother Samuel, then building the Pensacola Naval Yard in Florida, 1826-27.
