(Ypres circa 1617-1687 Alkmaar) The Expulsion of Hagar and Ishmael. Black chalk on cream laid paper, 1666. 182x288 mm; 7x11 inches. Signed, dated and annotated in ink, lower left recto. Van den Bergh trained with Peter Paul Rubens and joined the guild of painters in Alkmaar in 1646.
