  • Notes: first edition. inscribed and signed to john (buffy) glassco. The Canadian Glassco was a major figure in McAlmon''s circle in Paris and one of the so-called "bright boys from Montreal" (together with Graeme Taylor). It was McAlmon who persuaded Ethel Moorhead to print Glassco''s first writings in her final number of the expatriate journal This Quarter. With McAlmon''s Post-Adolescence, this was the first volume to bear the "Contact Publishing Company" imprint. Glassco and Taylor, nicknamed two "clever little devils" were also the subject of a Morley Callaghan story, "Now That April''s Here."
