  • Notes: The early City of Mexico printing of President Vicente Guerrero's 19 July decree covering several important new developments in the northern Mexico borderlands. Sonora (including much of what became Arizona) is here broken off as a separate state for the first time. New vicars are appointed in New Mexico and El Paso, and the residents of New Mexico are exempted from certain taxes.
