A select group of 5 mural studies in Mexico City. Silver prints, each approximately 9 1/2x7 1/2 inches (24.1x19.1 cm.), or very slightly smaller, and the reverse, 3 with Modotti's hand stamp and each with a Comandacia General hand stamp and notations, in pencil, in an unknown hand, on verso; 2 with a San Antonio Museum of Art label on frame verso (from the exhibition "American Photography: A History in Pictures"). 1924-28

  • Notes: The murals are the work of Jose Orozco (not David Alfaro Siqueiros).
