Gallagher inquir-ing if Charlie Parker invented "bop" when he was with the original "bop" band that played at Minton's in New York, 1942-43. Included, a sheet of 3 questions with spaces for Monk's answers. His reply to "What Musician in the original group, really invented 'bop music'?" is simply "Thelonius Monk."
