- Notes: first edition of an illustrated work on medical botany. Hunt 522; Nissen BBI 1406; Pritzel 6417. According to note on front endpaper, sold as lot 1318 in the 1 February 1792 session of the sale of the library of the Comte de Mirabeau. The French statesman Honoré-Gabriel Riqueti, Comte de Mirabeau (1749-91) had acquired the library of the Comte de Buffon en bloc.
