- Notes: Deed issued by Wells as mayor of Salt Lake City, confirming Brigham Young's ownership of 155 square rods (just under an acre) in Block 88. Mayor Wells was a noteworthy Mormon apostle and a counselor to Brigham Young. Also signed by James Jack as notary public, and docketed on verso by Edwin D. Woolley (a Mormon bishop) as county recorder.
