"A natural successor to Motherwell's other great book with Alberti (A la pintura, 1972), the present sequence of prints illustrates a poem written by Alberti as an homage to Motherwell during the painter's 1980 Barcelona retrospective"--Phillips/Zwicker, Grolier/American Livre de Peintre 35.
