1) The Mountains of California. New York: The Century Co., 1894. First edition, first issue with "1" on first page of text, octavo, frontispiece and numerous illustrations throughout; original tan publisher's pictorial cloth stamped with gilt and green, top edge gilt; a few minor stains, spine caps just pushed; 7 5/8 x 5 1/8 in. BAL 14746. Ex libris Stanley DeForest Scott (1926-2023, nameplate with note "We hope that you will enjoy reading this book" in blue ink).

2) Our National Parks. Boston: Houghton Mifflin and Company, 1901. First edition, octavo, frontispiece, map and ten plates; original green publisher's cloth stamped with gold and green, top edge gilt; lacking original dust jacket, splatter stains to front board, light edgewear; 8 x 5 3/8 in. BAL 14752. Presentation inscription to a Judge A.N. Waterman of San Francisco dated December 25th, 1901, inked on front free flyleaf.

3) The Story of my Boyhood and Youth. Boston: Houghton Mifflin Company, 1913. First edition, octavo, frontispiece photogravure portrait of Muir with his facsimile signature in lower margin and eight plates from photographs inserted; original dark green publisher's cloth stamped with gilt and green, top edge gilt; lacking original dust jacket, spine caps just pushed, but overall, a bright, fresh copy; 8 x 5 3/8 in. BAL 14768. Presentation inscription to an "E. Dalett" dated Christmas 1913.

4) Steep Trails. Boston: Houghton Mifflin Company, 1918. First edition, octavo, half-title, frontispiece and eleven plates; a few gatherings unopened; original gray publisher's cloth printed with white, color-print pasted to front board, top edge gilt; a bit dulled, corners bumped, endpapers foxed; 8 x 5 1/2 in. BAL 14777.

5) Hall S. Young's Alaska Days with John Muir. New York, et al.: Fleming H. Revell Company, 1915. First edition, octavo, frontispiece and twelve photographic plates; original blue publisher's cloth stamped with white and gray; spine dull, corners lightly bumped, a few faded minor stains to front board; 7 3/8 x 5 in. Ferdinand B. Brigham (inked presentation inscription from his wife Minnie A.M. Tatem, dated Christmas 1922). (5)
