Martinez, 12 September 1902 E1,500/2500 "I'll be pleased to see you any day you are at leisure to come. The most convenient way is by the Santa Fe R. R. to `Muir Station' which is near our house. Take 7 a.m. [crossed out and changed to] time changed see timetable train from San Francisco. Hoping to see you soon." Muir (1838-1914) naturalist, explored California and Alaska, active politically in lobbying for conservation laws.
