  • Notes: signed first edition of the book which brought blues and folk musician Huddie Ledbetter to fame, published just two years after his release from prison. Laid in are a 5 1/2 x 4 1/4-inch photograph of Leadbelly captioned by photographer Ben Zeller on verso, New York University, 1 March 1936; and a sheet bearing 5 newspaper clippings on Leadbelly, 1935-36.
