  • Notes: first edition in latin, second issue, with title dated 1669 instead of 1668. "The earliest and most famous treatise on the chemistry and technology of glassmaking" (Neville), originally published in Italian in 1612. The Latin translation was made from Merret's 1662 English version. Neville I, 220 note.
