(NEW YORK CITY.) An Act to Enable John B. Coles to Raise a Dam across Haerlem River.   • Notes: The original act which this one amends gave Lewis Morris the right to build a bridge from the Bronx to Manhattan over the Harlem River. Cole took over the project in 1795 and finished the first Third Avenue Bridge in 1797. Not in Evans.
